ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

Dear all delegates, you are kindly invited to submit abstract on research or topic related to diabetic foot for poster presentation during 4th D-Foot International Wound Conference 2026. Before starting the submission process, kindly reminder to check on the important dates section and the guideline below.

  • Notification of acceptance: 31 March 2026

GENERAL GUIDELINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT

These guidelines apply to all poster presentations for the 4th D-Foot International Wound Conference 2026. Please read the submission rules and guidelines before submitting an abstract.

A. PRESENTING AUTHOR AND REGISTRATION.

Presenting author must register for the conference by 15 March 2026 before their abstract can proceed for review. The committee reserves the right to exclude any abstract from the scientific program not followed by participant registration. Please note that exhibitor registrations are not valid for presenting authors.

B. DEADLINE FOR UPLOADING ABSTRACT

  1. All poster authors should email their completed abstracts (not the actual poster or a PowerPoint file) to info@dfimaldives2026.org by 15 March 2026.
  2. The file must be submitted in PDF format (PowerPoint or Word format will not be accepted).
  3. Abstracts are to be submitted in English only.

C. CONTENT OF ABSTRACT

  1. Abstract text limited to 250 words, excluding the title, authors, and affiliations.
  2. Write the title of the abstract in CAPITAL LETTERS and keep it as brief as possible.
  3. Do not write any identifying features such as names of authors, hospitals, clinics, or cities in the title or abstract text. A “blind” review process will be used.
  4. The abstract must include: Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
  5. Generic names must be used for any product or company references. Brand names can be added as a reference at the bottom of the abstract page.

D. REVIEWING

  1. The Scientific Committee will review the abstract and email the results.
  2. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent on 31 March 2026.
  3. Please verify your email address is correct as it will be used for contacting you.

E. RESULTS

  1. An email will be sent on 13 March 2026 to those abstracts accepted by the scientific committee and guidelines on preparing the e-posters.
  2. Please note that an Abstract ID number will be e-mailed to the author once the abstract is verified and accepted by the scientific committee.
