This prestigious event is spearheaded by our Vice President, Dr. Mohamad Wahid, together with the dedicated D-FOOT team and in collaboration with the Maldives Association of Surgeons. As the implementation arm for the working group of the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF), D-FOOT remains steadfast in its commitment to preventing avoidable amputations. It is truly a privilege to lead this initiative in alignment with our shared vision and mission — strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration, improving clinical standards, and enhancing patient outcomes worldwide.
